DESCENT SAMUEL-DE CHAMPLAIN BRIDGE (SELF-GUIDED)

Note: Before you can do this hike, you must have done the guided descent in order to familiarize yourself with the route, and be a member (create a customer account).

Go on an adventure and discover the beauty of the St. Lawrence River from our Verdun site and go to Pointe-Nord on Nuns' Island. This is a self-guided experience unique to Montreal. You will navigate freely while admiring the flora and fauna of this exceptional site. This 8 km marked course is completely safe. You will have the chance to pass under the pier and the Champlain Bridge (Champlain Bridge option) / down the St-Laurent River between Nuns' Island and Verdun (IDS Bridge option). The kayaks will then be left at our rental site at Pointe-Nord on Nuns' Island.

For logistical reasons, you must book 24 hours in advance.

BIKE OPTION (+ $ 8): We also offer Bixi type bikes to return to our Verdun site after your kayaking activity. If you have a Bixi pass, you can rent the bike yourself, but we cannot guarantee that there will be one available.
